Editorial Policy

These standards apply to every article, score board and match centre on Maxivaleur. The Standards Desk owns this page and reviews it at least twice a year.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made by the newsroom alone. Advertisers, partners and the publisher's other business interests have no say over what we cover or how. We do not offer or promote betting. Maxivaleur has no commercial partnerships with betting operators of any kind, and none will be accepted.

Editorial and sponsored content

Anything paid for by a third party is labelled Sponsored above the headline and in the page title, carries the sponsor's name and is never signed by an editorial desk. Sponsored content is only accepted from sports-related brands — equipment, streaming services, ticketing — and never from the excluded categories on the Advertise page.

Sources and fact-checking

• Scores and statistics come from our licensed data provider (see Data Sources), never from copying other websites.
• Facts in articles are checked against primary sources: competition regulations, official match sheets, statements from clubs and organisers.
• Statistical explainers state their method in the text.
• We do not publish anonymous claims about named people.

Language we avoid

Our match coverage describes form, head-to-head records and key statistics. We do not publish forecasts framed as advice or probability figures tied to outcomes.

Corrections

Errors are fixed promptly and, when they change the meaning of a piece, noted publicly. The process is set out in our corrections policy.

Monetisation

Technical controls

A Content Security Policy limits which domains can run scripts on our pages. Every week the Standards Desk scans all pages and ad tags for excluded-category keywords and operator domains.
